Essentials of Leadership Programme

Designed for anyone in leadership or management, the Essentials of Leadership Programme teaches delegates the skills they need to effectively lead their teams. The course focuses on how to apply theoretical concepts to practical situations at work in line with the 70:20:10 model.

This is fundamental training for

  • senior leadership

  • middle management

  • team leaders/supervisors

and works best when rolled out throughout the business.

The programme is flexible to your needs. It can be run for either full days or part days, according to what suits your business and your people.

MANAGER PROGRAMME

Managing people and tasks can be complex. Managers need to be authentic, diplomatic, courageous, efficient, resilient, engaging… the list goes on. Equip your people with the skills, tools and behaviours to confidently deliver business success and inspire others.

The Manager Programme is for employees who:

  • Are newly promoted to middle management, operational management and senior leadership positions

  • Are currently in a leadership role with no formal training around managing other people

  • Need or seek development to make the step up to a people leadership position.

The programme includes an introductory session for managers explaining their crucial support role, five full-day workshops for the participants, four facilitated group sessions between workshops, a mid-programme update session for managers, a full post-programme review of learnings and successes, plus DiSC behavioural profiles, programme tools/resources and senior management briefings.

TEAM LEADER PROGRAMME

It is exciting when an employee takes their first step from a team member to a people leader, but for the individual it can also be hugely daunting and challenging. New team leaders and supervisors are often great individual performers, but they have not been equipped with the fundamental skills and practical tools required to successfully manage a team. A great start can make a huge difference!

The Team Leader Programme is for employees who are:

  • New to a team leader, supervisory, leading hand or other people leading position

  • Currently in a people leading role with no previous training around managing others

  • Ready to step up or increase their potential for promotion.

The programme includes an introductory session for managers explaining their crucial role, four half-day workshops for the participants, four facilitated group sessions between workshops, a mid-programme update session for managers, a full post-programme review of learnings and successes, plus DiSC behavioural profiles, programme tools/resources and management briefings.
